Henrik Maurin joins Turbotic as Senior Director of Digital Transformation Consulting, to help organisations close the gap between AI pilots and AI that actually runs in production.
Most organisations do not lack ambition when it comes to AI. What they lack is clarity on where to start, confidence in how to govern it, and a partner who has actually done the work of turning a plan into a live, operational system. That gap — between AI experimentation and AI that delivers measurable business value — is exactly where Turbotic operates, and it is why we appointed Henrik Maurin as Senior Director of Digital Transformation Consulting.
"Throughout my career, I've sat on both sides of transformation — as the consultant advising from the outside, and as the operator who has to live with the result. I've seen how easily that turns into one of two traps: a tool with no one to guide you, or a team that never quite hands the work back. What drew me to Turbotic is that it refuses both. The goal here isn't to stay indispensable — it's to build real capability inside the client's own team, so they can govern and keep building with confidence long after we've moved on. That's how I've always believed transformation should work," says Henrik Maurin.
A career built on making transformation hold up under pressure
Henrik brings over a decade of experience across operations, automation, AI, and corporate transformation, gained at Arthur D. Little, Ericsson, and EY. He has worked both sides of the table: as a management consultant advising on transformation strategy, and as a senior operational leader accountable for delivering it, including running a large international operations organisation at Ericsson. That combination — strategic thinking paired with real operational accountability — is precisely what production-ready AI requires, and precisely what is often missing when organisations try to scale agents and automation on their own.
Why this matters for Turbotic's clients
Turbotic exists to help organisations move beyond MVP agents and isolated pilots, toward systems that are governed, measured, and genuinely embedded in how a business operates. Henrik has spent his career inside that exact challenge — leading large-scale transformation programmes where the objective was never simply to design a better process, but to ensure it functioned reliably, at scale, under real operational pressure. That is the same standard we hold ourselves to with every client: not handing over a roadmap and departing, but building alongside client teams, from discovery through to a live, operational system they can run and govern themselves.
"It's hard to find people who are genuinely passionate about transformation, who bring real, hard-won experience, and who understand how AI is changing the way we work ourselves — not just the way our clients work. Henrik checks every one of those boxes," says Theodore Bergqvist, CEO and Co-founder of Turbotic.
What working with Henrik looks like
Clients working with Henrik can expect someone who takes the unglamorous parts of transformation — governance, process discipline, cost control — as seriously as the more visible wins. It is that combination of consulting-grade thinking and operational accountability that Turbotic looks for in every engagement lead, and it is what will help more of our clients move confidently from pilot to production.
Welcome to Turbotic, Henrik. We are glad to have him on board.
